ok ok so i've been "gone" forever..but i've been busy!
I have been posting pics & what-not over on facebook & have been neglecting my poor little blog, I know.
it has been a busy summer though...
visits from family & friends
visits TO family & friends
camping
hiking
biking
gardening
scrapbooking
you know...living!
:)

Argh..the joys of being the mother of a teenage daughter...

This is the kind of emotional torture I get from my daughter, who is 14...( & a half omg!)
AND who has a boyfriend whom I intensely dislike...

Note the "wet eye" on the little chibi*
and the wagging tail...
and the begging paws...
Sami knows I have a particular weakness for the chibi race...
especially the sad ones
...nothing that cute should be sad.
So this, I declare as emotional blackmail!
She fights dirty I tell you...dirty.

*(basically anything small & extremely cute..Lars is sometimes referred to as a chibi)

Sami, in a fit of the blahs, informed me that she was an unphotogenic dork...
I told her she was full of it &
to prove it I took one frame.
She shut up after that...lol

"bruver" adores his "sissy"

I love how much she loves him!

Love this... caught mid-laugh!

It took me so long to get Sami to stop doing the "cheese" for the camera.
I think now that Lars is here she gets distracted by him &
I have been able to get some really great shots of her.
Now that she has seen some of them too,
she has relaxed a little bit in front of the camera and
has a bit more confidence.
It's really great because now I can capture pictures of the Sami that I get to see everyday,
vital & energetic, full of life & laughter.

I think Sami looks like me in this one.

Some fun pics of the mister from last week....

check out the Carhartts! Too cute!
